04 / Resource Solutions Plus / E-Commerce / Workflow Automation

Many Stores.
The Right Route.

At Resource Solutions Plus, I am developing a workflow to route orders from multiple e-commerce stores to vendors and suppliers, while separating work for our own production team. The routing plan uses product type, quantity, decoration method, and in-house production capability to determine where each order should go.

The Context

Every Order Needs
A Production Destination.

Orders came from multiple e-commerce stores and needed to reach the right vendor, supplier, or internal production team.

The routing design considers four factors: product type, quantity, decoration method, and whether we can produce the work in-house or need an outside vendor. These criteria define the planned production destination and which orders belong with our own team.

My role connects that operational challenge with storefront presentation, customization planning, customer guidance, and measurement.

What Is Built.
What Comes Next.

Individual assets and checks are complete while the connected routing system remains in development. This view reflects saved files and recorded checks.

01 / Created & Documented

The Building Blocks.

  • Shopify draft theme and custom form scripts.
  • Ordering and artwork-guidance layouts.
  • Printavo intake instructions, production status flow, and team training guide.
  • Draft Art Studio code for guided artwork previews and attachment handling.
02 / Recorded Checks

Specific Checks Recorded.

  • Existing-customer matching in Printavo.
  • Shopify page and product views received in GA4.
  • PC54 and PC78H sample products indexed by Google.
  • Website and checkout reporting reviewed to establish a baseline.
03 / In Development

The Connected Workflow.

  • Order Desk routing and PrintFlo/Printavo mapping.
  • Automated artwork delivery and production release.
  • AI artwork finishing and physical production validation.
  • Webflow demo completion and full conversion tracking.

Intake & Production

A Clear Start.
Review Before Release.

The quote-intake form and Printavo training guide make the first steps concrete.

The guide describes matching an existing customer by email, creating a customer and quote when needed, and using statuses for quote approval, artwork approval, and payment requests. A saved check reports successful customer matching.

Artwork transfer still requires staff. Customer approval and payment emails need end-to-end verification, and staff review the job before releasing it to production. These are defined review points in the developing workflow.

The Planned Routing Workflow

Connect The Stores
To The Work That Follows.

The intended workflow will use product type, quantity, decoration method, and in-house production capability to route orders automatically to vendors, suppliers, or our own production team. This system is still in development.

01 / Order Sources

Multiple Stores.

Account for orders arriving from more than one e-commerce shop.

02 / External Destinations

Vendors & Suppliers.

Plan the rules that will route orders to vendors and suppliers according to the product and production requirements.

03 / Internal Production

Separate The Work.

Define how the workflow will separate jobs for our own production team according to the product, quantity, decoration method, and in-house capability.

Proposed Architecture / In Development

The Tools Behind
The Routing Plan.

The RSP planning notes identify Shopify as the commerce source, Order Desk for routing, and PrintFlo/Printavo for the production connection. I am working toward this connected workflow.

01 / Commerce

Shopify

The documented commerce platform in the plan. Store orders need to carry the product, quantity, decoration, and customization information required for routing.

02 / Routing

Order Desk

The proposed routing layer, with rules designed to direct work to vendors and suppliers or separate it for internal production.

03 / Production

PrintFlo & Printavo

The planned connection into production management. Order-field mapping, artwork handoffs, and fulfillment updates require end-to-end validation.

The Decisions

Design The Journey.
Then Check The Connections.

Product presentation, clear ordering guidance, and testable handoffs belong in the same conversation.

01 / Product Discovery

Make The Offer Clear.

Organize the store around product categories and show the customization promise early. The preview connects apparel and everyday promotional products to the customer’s own logo or artwork.

The interface shown is a saved theme preview.

02 / Ordering Guidance

Explain The Decisions Ahead.

Connect product selection, artwork, and checkout expectations with a customer ordering guide. Use the journey to identify where the production handoff needs to be tested.

The screenshot demonstrates the guide’s presentation; completed fulfillment and automated file delivery are separate verification steps.

03 / Measurement

Measure The Starting Point.

Recorded

November checks report Shopify page and product views reaching GA4, plus Google indexing for the PC54 shirt and PC78H hoodie.

Reviewed

October website, checkout, and sales reporting established a baseline and identified checkout completion as a question to investigate.

Still To Validate

Complete purchase/refund tracking, successful inquiry tracking, and cross-domain checks. Product-listing approval is separate from search indexing.

Work In Progress

Foundations Built.
Connections In Progress.

Storefront assets, intake guidance, and recorded customer-matching and analytics checks provide a foundation for the wider system.

The Order Desk routing workflow remains in development. The next milestones are verified store-to-production mapping, artwork delivery, exception handling, and an end-to-end order test. The main website demo, advanced AI artwork workflow, and full conversion tracking also have remaining work.

What I Brought

Creative direction, production requirements, customer-experience planning, and oversight across storefronts, intake, and measurement. Development includes collaboration and AI assistance.

What This Demonstrates

E-commerce design, customer journeys, website optimization, requirements for production handoffs, and disciplined interpretation of analytics.
