A First Pass With
Room For Judgment.
Local360 connects 360° source footage, local AI-assisted framing, manual corrections, and editable video output. The goal is a repeatable first pass that keeps the editor in control.

The Context
The Camera Captures More
Than The Story Needs.
A 360° recording leaves the framing decision for later. Installation footage makes that decision especially practical: follow the presenter, or show the part being worked on?
Local360 combines a local vision model’s suggested framing with tracking, a review interface, and Premiere/Insta360 output. Original footage is preserved, and an editable project accompanies the rendered video.
My contribution centers on the editorial workflow, production requirements, and evaluating whether the results show the work clearly. The application was developed with AI assistance.
The Decisions
Automate The First Pass.
Keep The Editorial Controls.
The model can suggest where to look. The interface makes that choice reviewable and adjustable.
- 01
Start With The Source
Use the original 360° footage as the basis for the project and final export.
- 02
Suggest A Frame
A local vision model proposes the focus. Feature tracking supports the movement between framing decisions.
- 03
Review And Correct
Inspect the panorama and preview. Select a subject, adjust camera keys, or change the direction manually.
- 04
Export An Editable Draft
Produce a video alongside a Premiere project and framing-range data, with queue and recovery support.

A Useful Test Finding
Confidence Is Not Editorial Approval.
One test classified a wheel-side demonstration as a presenter shot. That made the need for review concrete: an AI label does not establish that the important action is visible.
The Result / Tested Draft Workflow
From A Suggested Frame
To An Editable Output.
Actual Eight-Second Test Export · October 30, 2026 · Draft Framing · Human Review Required · Source Audio Retained
A separate recorded batch completed 22 of 22 clips. These are bounded processing results, not a claim that every output is editorially approved or that the workflow is reliable on every recording.
What I Brought
Hands-on filming experience, requirements for presenter-versus-work framing, test feedback, and a preference for corrections that remain editable.
What This Demonstrates
Video operations, applied AI, human review, repeatable processing, and attention to recovery and usable deliverables.
