THE CREATIVE CHALLENGE

A Brand with Character.

Build a recognizable visual family that can support several kinds of merchandise: a simple mark, an expressive character, and a graphic that holds its shape on headwear.

MY ROLE

Illustration, Identity Layouts, Apparel and Headwear Mockups, and Print/Embroidery Production.

I handled the creative and production work, developing the visual treatments and translating them into product applications. The archive shown here includes design artwork and mockups.

FROM IDEA TO APPLICATION

01 / PROCESS

Build the Visual Vocabulary

The cleaver, coffee bean, and meat-shop lettering establish the theme in a compact graphic. This treatment gives the more expressive illustrations a clear point of reference.

Explore Personality and Variation

The character artwork and alternate graphic treatments explore different levels of detail and tone within the same identity. The pink butcher-cut illustration is another direction in that family.

Translate Artwork to a Product

The headwear mockup shows how a selected illustration reads at a smaller imprint size. It makes placement and visual balance visible before the piece is presented as a product.
